Chicago Comedy Shows This Weekend

Weekend comedy shows in Chicago are our biggest nights at The Comedy Bar. Friday and Saturday typically sell out the early 7:00 pm show plus a second show at 9:00 pm or 9:15 pm, and Sunday wraps the weekend with Chicago's Best Comedy Show.

Reservations are strongly recommended for parties of 4 or more — weekends draw a mix of date nights, birthday groups, bachelorette parties, and tourists in town for the Magnificent Mile. The full Gino's East dinner menu and our weekend signature cocktails are served at your table the entire night, with no drink minimums.

For your weekend comedy night out, The Comedy Bar is on the third floor of Gino's East at 162 E Superior in River North — two blocks east of the Magnificent Mile and walkable from most downtown hotels.

Capacity is 140 guests across cocktail tables and the main floor. Weekend reservations are strongly recommended; we routinely sell out Friday and Saturday early shows.

Friday hours run 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Saturday 6:00 pm to 1:00 am — the rooftop patio is open in season for pre-show drinks. Closest parking is the Olympia Centre garage on Chicago Avenue.
