The Comedy Bar, a stand-up comedy venue attached to Gino’s East River North pizzeria, is staying open, and going all-in. According to an announcement Sunday, the Comedy Bar “officially changes their name to ‘The COVID-y Bar 19’” and remains operating in Chicago, Nashville and Dubuque. “Although their jokes may be dirty, the Comedy Bar’s venues are being diligently monitored and sanitized to ensure the safety of their guests.”
